Senior Manager, Active Living, Heart Foundation
Michelle Daley is the Senior Manager, Active Living with the Heart Foundation in NSW. She has a background in education and health promotion spanning over 20 years and her vision is for an environment that supports people to be active in everyday life. Most of Michelle’s work has been as a practitioner, implementing and evaluating health promotion and public health initiatives, with a particular focus on physical activity and active living. Michelle is also involved in research projects encompassing cycling, healthy urban planning and reducing sedentary behaviours in the workplace.
Michelle will present an overview of why walking and cycling are essential elements of a healthy city.
